From the desk of the President

I believe that, in a few year's time, development of a country will not be based on the Gross Domestic Product(GDP) but the Gross Domestic Knowledge(GDK). The developing knowledge of the citizen will determine the happiness of the people and as it is, happiness in today's world, is increasingly considered to be the proper measure of social progress and development. According to World Happiness Report 2017, India ranked 122 out of 155 countries, going down four places from it's previous rank of 118 where it stood. We aim at development through happiness which can be achieved properly through knowledge dissemination. The students become mentally burdened and pressurized which often results in mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, etc. Here at Jyotirmoy Public School, we want to lighten the lives of the students by engaging them in different activities and programs apart from the daily tutoring routines. We also want a complete transfer of knowledge from the tutor/ mentor to the students thus, we provide one to one interaction and individual mentoring of the students, thus nurturing them to utilize their entire potential in whatever challenges they undertake in the future. To work it out, we provide various modes through which we wish to reach the students, such as classroom coaching, tie-up with various schools, we have also come up with a residential program, we also provide online learning facilities, keeping pace with the speedy development of the world in the sphere of learning. For any individual to be successful, the coach of the individual plays a role of prime importance. Keeping that in mind, we appoint only selective experienced and talented teachers to cater to the needs of the students with required expertise. Mentioning all that, the final dedication and hard work of the students is what can get them to achieve the epitome of success. There is no alternate to hard work.

One of our all time favourite football player from Brazil, Pele was quoted saying “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”

We invite all the students and their parents to join us in our endeavour of making this world a happier place through spreading knowledge among students and moving India forward in the happiness index as well as make our motherland one of the developed nations of the world.

I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to Jyotirmoy Public School, Board of Governors, Staff, Parents and Students , in acting as a team towards making our institution one of the leading institute in the country. We want that the education imparted by our institution must help our children to develop an overall personality and to possess a good character, strong mind and an expanded intellect by which they can stand on their own feet. In order to achieve our aim and mission, we have enriched our school curriculum with practical approach of learning by doing. We also believe that visual impact is very important for learning. That is why we had started smart classes in our Institution.

We have included all possible types of co-curricular activities throughout the session so that children can develop physical, emotional, social, spiritual, creative, aesthetic and intellectual skills in their personality. We believe that education without practical approach, without overall personality development aspects and without moral values is meaningless. The philosophy that inspires us is to arouse in the child the wonder of existence, desire for discovery and the will power to come out a winner.

We believe that hard work has no other substitute; there is no royal road to learning. We all are as one team doing hard work and trying to achieve best in what we do for making our children the best citizens of our country and making them broad minded with universal thoughts, which can help them to serve all the human beings of this universe. We believe that Almighty will surely help us to achieve this noble mission.
